Welcome to the Headquarters of the Michigan Militia Corps Reserve (MMCWR). In
response to an increasing number of individuals who have expressed interest in
participating in the Michigan Militia Corps, but who do not have the time, resources,
or ability to participate in traditional meetings and training, the idea of a
reserve, or "inactive" militia was proposed to the MMC's Advisory and Policy
Council. After the approval of the majority of Division Commanders, the creation
of the Michigan Militia Corps - Wolverines Reserve was authorized. In order to
maintain a separation of the regular MMC units and the Reserve, a 10th Division
was created for the MMCWR.
